Scott Frost of Frost Law Firm, PC was recently recognized in the Top Verdicts of 2021: Opening Statements and Closing Arguments Litigation Packet published by the American Association for Justice® (AAJ®) for obtaining a verdict in a secondhand asbestos exposure case.
A South Carolina jury reached a unanimous decision in favor of Mr. Frost’s client Robert Weist, the surviving husband of Kathy Lynn Weist. Kathy Weist lost her life to mesothelioma at the age of 62 after experiencing secondhand asbestos exposure through fibers brought home on work clothing worn by her husband, father, and uncle.
After a four-day trial, the jury determined that Kraft Heinz Company and contracted company Metal Masters, Inc. were liable for Kathy Weist’s mesothelioma diagnosis and resulting damages.
As one of only thirteen jury verdicts included in this resource, this trial showcased the outstanding trial advocacy skills of Scott Frost and the transformative results he achieves for his clients.
