The American Association for Justice is having its 2022 Winter Convention in Palm Springs in February. Since the AAJ is by trial lawyers for trial lawyers, attorneys from all over the country come together at this convention to learn from their colleagues and stay informed on new developments regarding their practice. Much of the learning process is from Continuing Legal Education presentations, or CLEs.
Throughout the four day convention, attending lawyers can look to the various CLEs offered. Scott Frost will present in the Marketing and Management Seminar, which will take place on Saturday. This seminar is focused on business planning and how to best market your firm, and this also includes what mistakes to avoid when doing so. The seminar will also include how to incorporate social media and search engine optimization so potential clients can easily find your practice.
The CLE programs at the convention can be live streamed and watched on demand, which provides attorneys with the access they need to learn as much as possible throughout the convention. Reference materials from the CLEs that the AAJ faculty prepares are also available for attorneys so they can get additional information. With these tools available, by the end of the convention, lawyers will return to their practices with more knowledge and strategies to overcome new challenges and face them head-on.
