How Does a Doctor Diagnose Mesothelioma?

Many people have heard about mesothelioma, thanks largely to the commercials that have long played on television, asking individuals suffering from this condition to call in for legal guidance. However, not very many of these advertisements are clear about mesothelioma being an aggressive form of cancer. They also don't tell you how deadly it is. (more…)

Frost Law Firm, PC Secures $5 Million for Mesothelioma Victim

In Los Angeles, a husband and wife seeking justice for the husband’s exposure to asbestos while working in construction as a day laborer was awarded $5 million by a jury after a multi-week trial. In the trial of Brooks v. DAP Products Inc., et al., the plaintiffs claimed that Kevin Brooks had developed mesothelioma as a result of his exposure to asbestos in Kaiser Gypsum Company’s joint compound while working in the 1960s and 1970s. He alleged the asbestos fibers from those products were inhaled and damaged his[...]

Philips Respironics To Inform Patients of Ventilator Recall

People living with sleep apnea, asthma, and other conditions that make it difficult to breathe often rely on personal ventilators that they can use in their own homes. Where Are Asbestos-Containing Materials Most Commonly Used?

It may be unsettling to know that asbestos can be found in many of the homes, schools, and offices in which we spend so much of our lives. For most of the 20th century, asbestos was a resilient and heat-resistant material central to manufacturing and construction, and our cities and neighborhoods today still carry the remnants of this era of U.S. production. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that between 1900 and 1980, more than 30 million tons of asbestos were poured into consumer products, machines, vehicles, and[...]

How to Treat Sleep Apnea During CPAP Machine Recall

When you have sleep apnea, your doctor will likely advise you to use a CPAP machine to help treat it. A CPAP machine creates a positive airway path while you sleep. This means that it provides your nose and mouth with a steady flow of oxygen throughout the night so that the airway doesn’t close, which sleep apnea can cause. (more…)

Our Experience Is Personal

Scott L. Frost’s Family Experience with Lung Cancer

For most of his life, Scott L. Frost’s father, who was in the construction industry, worked with and sold products containing asbestos without knowing the materials were dangerous. He was diagnosed with lung cancer 40 years after starting his career, leading Scott’s family to fight like they had never fought before.

Pictured here with his wife of over 50 years, Scott’s father eventually succumbed to the cancer. Since then, Scott has made it his mission to do everything in his power to make sure corporations understand how dangerous asbestos is and prevent future generations from suffering as his family did, as well as support research that may lead to finding a cure.

We have a commitment to our veterans. Let us help.
